Dance of Sens(x)uality
Each session is $25. inSpirit class passes and memberships are accepted.
Where does sensuality live in our bodies and in our lives? How do we nurture and dance with the gift and the birthright of our sensual selves? We will not only talk, but move together, providing a safe space in which to come into deeper awareness of and connection to our sensual selves.
Testimonial from a participant of the first session:
”I’m an older person and on the spectrum. Movement and dance have never been a part of my life…..too shy…too self conscious…not comfortable with my own body. When she posted about this class it clicked with me that I have never in my life felt sensual. Romantic yes. Sexual yes. But never sensual. With her support and encouragement I decided that I would challenge myself. I’m so happy I did. Lainie and Julie have created a safe place where even I could feel comfortable. The class took me on a journey I’ve never been on. I have no idea where the next class will take me…but I’m looking forward to it!!”

Surviving and Thriving on Social Media
2 FREE Open Houses
Sat, Jan 28 - 1 PM MT and Mon, Jan 30 - 5 PM MT
"Surviving & Thriving on Social Media,” a new series to facilitate finding ease and joy navigating the socials, presented by inSpirit Studio and Paul Duff
Follower count and sales are generally the metrics used in social media courses. Though we can certainly work on these things, we will also be working to find other metrics - how can we work with social media in ways that feel in line with our values, in ways that feel safe, in ways that feel joyful?
During the Open House sessions, we’ll be answering the questions and solving the puzzles that we can in the moment AND we’ll be discussing more complex issues that might make for productive classes and workshop sessions in the coming months.
Bring your questions! These sessions are to be of service to YOU and to help us craft future offerings that will be pertinent to YOUR needs!

Tracing Time: Mayan Astrology in Motion
The end of a year can bring forth attachment to the idea of endings and beginnings. What if, instead of hasting to wrap things up and get things done, we were to slow down for a moment? To reflect on time together, to explore and create a sense of timelessness in us - through sensations, heart, and inspirational archetypes?
Join Minna Aalto, 1st Degree Black Belt and artist, for a 3-part playshop that invites you to look at time and existence through the lens of the Dreamspell, a time-tracing structure inspired by the ancient Maya. Learn about - or be reminded of - "Natural Time", the cyclical nature of things and be inspired by a personal mythology unfolding. We will keep it light, playful and interactive! Each 2-hour session contains a classic Nia class.
$60 for all three sessions. $25 for individual session.

PEACE, LOVE, DANCE 24-hour Global Nia Fundraiser
This event was initiated by Kinga Brezina, a Nia Trainer in Budapest, Hungary. I know her personally. Since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia on February 24th, Kinga has been organizing her Nia community. She writes:
“Since the war began the people of Hungary opened their hearts and have been helping and giving whatever is needed wherever they can. My Hungarian Nia community has been helping in many ways: making food and carrying it to the stations, buying medications, sending money, collecting blankets, food, baby strollers, offering our houses to the refugees, and volunteering when needed. We have received so much support from the Global Nia Community that I had this dream of creating the PEACE LOVE DANCE 24-hour Global Nia Fundraiser. I hope you will join us.” -Kinga
Although you can join at any time, each 45-minute playlist begins at the top of the hour. Please sign in a few minutes early to begin with the group. Also, when you click the Zoom link for the dance, it will ask for your email address as the “registration,” but there is no payment. Only your email address is required to attend. Making the donation is on your honor.
Please note, this event is also going to be live-streamed on Facebook. However, when we are dancing, only the instructor who is highlighted will be visible on the FB page. If we go into gallery mode at the end of class, please feel free to turn your camera off if you do not want to be seen on the livestream. If you use Facebook, please help us spread the word!

You are invited to celebrate the Chinese New Year with us, with Nia, & with the inSpirit community. The Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, is a time to celebrate the coming spring and year with food, family, festivities, and cleaning out the old. It occurs on the 2nd New Moon after the Winter Solstice and in China, is a National 7-day Holiday. This year we are ushering in the Year of the Tiger - with traits of confidence, courage, ambition and justice. For although Tiger's are highly competitive they are also generous in their desire and action to help others.

Sanctuary Fundraiser
Join the inSpirit instructors and community this Saturday, December 18th, for our monthly fundraiser. All proceeds from this class will be donated to LOVE NEVER FAILS.
LOVE NEVER FAILS is a non-profit organization in the San Francisco Bay Area - a sanctuary dedicated to the restoration, education, and protection of those involved or at risk of becoming involved in domestic human trafficking. Through programs such as housing, survivor empowerment, education, and more, they holistically address a survivor’s needs on their journey to safety and wholeness.
We'll be dancing the classic Nia routine, Sanctuary, by Nia Founder, Debbie Rosas. The focus of Sanctuary is the hands, a physical part of our body that brings healing. The soundscape, featuring the music of Adiemus, is so inspirational to the heart and spirit and really supports one in being expressive with the hands.
Come nourish your peace, explore silence and sound, bathe in the harmonies, and find your healing in this movement sanctuary.
